In the coming weeks, you will see a considerable amount of growth in your baby in terms of his size, muscular strength and weight. Lungs and brain cells keep developing in the coming weeks. The subcutaneous fat deposits continue to build up underneath the baby’s skin. Testicles in baby boy descend down to the scrotum in most of the babies.
The baby is small in size at this stage, but begins to grow some size in next coming weeks. At this particular stage, the head of the baby begins to shift down into the pelvis, especially if he is your first baby. However, if you are having your second or third baby, the head may not lower to pelvis till the time of labor. In The 38th week of your baby the development of your baby is almost completed and he is about to coming in this world. Mother will feel change shape in her bump when the baby is going to descend his head to the pelvis. And the mother does not pass from these changes in the case of second and third baby as the baby descends by the time of labor in such cases.

Baby does not move as energetic baby. But he is still active. And now he has curled up knees and skin is now pushed onto baby’s chest. In the 23rd weeks baby closes his eyes and it looks like sleeping and dreaming all the time. This has a good impact on the baby’s brain and baby sleep 6p percent of the total day. It means he dreams a lot in these weeks and has a rapid growth of brain cells.
